Being Popa Jim..............

Jim with "his" girls, Aubrey and Lainey. Of course, he still loves his "Little Redhead" (aka Chloe) too!
Jim went to the Otolaryngologist this morning and is scheduled for several more test this week. She feels that he is suffering from some type of vertigo, but will know more after these test are completed.
I think so far the best medicine he has been given is being able to listen to Aubrey and Lainey over the phone. They are just beginning to make giggle sounds and are so adorable!!!! Jim has always loved to just listen to them over the phone making their signature sound. (I'm not sure what to call it, but it is a condition where the flap in their trachea hasn't become firm yet and causes a snoring sound when they are breathing, especially when they are asleep.) It scares most people the first time they hear it if they haven't been around the girls before. But, the pediatrician assures us they will outgrow it in a few months. However, to us, it is music to our ears getting to hear them over the phone!!!
Please continue to keep him in your prayers!!!

I'm here, then I'm there, now I'm back here again!

Just a little update on what has been happening in the Dance household. Eli and I returned to Texas on Tuesday, after being in Alabama since August 29th. It was a visit full of all kinds of emotions. During my visit, Mother fell and broke her ankle, requiring surgery and a couple of weeks in a rehabilitation facility, my Aunt Erma Johnson died, and Jim became sick while I was away!

However, on an upbeat note, Mother is now back at home and doing great getting around in her wheelchair, I got to visit with several relatives and friends that I haven't seen in ages (why is it, that families seem to only see each other now at funerals?), I was in Bama Country for the start of football season, and I got to spend hours and hours with Aubrey and Lainey.

But, I did come home early because Jim hasn't been feeling good. He had a "spell" last week going to work of being dizzy and ended up in a ditch on the side of the road. He wasn't seriously injured, just shaken up a bit. He was treated for vertigo. However, a few days later he had two more "spells" and the doctor ordered a CAT scan. Thankfully, the scan did not show anything out of the ordinary. But, he still isn't improving. We are scheduled to visit with an ear, nose and throat specialist on Monday.

At first, he didn't even want me to come home. He tried arguing with me me to stay and help Mother and be with Krisha and the girls. But, after the second spell he told me that he wasn't gonna argue with me anymore, that he wanted me to come home. So, Eli and I are safely back home in Texas with Jim.

Please keep Jim in your prayers!

Prayer Warriors needed............

Please say a special prayer for my Mother, Catherine Worthy. She fell yesterday leaving McDonald's and broke her ankle in two places. She had surgery last night, they had to put a plate and six screws on one side and pins on the other side.
When I got to the ER, she started crying and begging me, "Ya'll don't be mad at me. I didn't mean to do it."
We were scheduled to have a "Four Generation" (Mother, me, Krisha, and the girls) photo session with Kim Lawson on Friday. Before Mother went to surgery she kept saying, "Now I won't get to have my picture made with Aubrey and Lainey on Friday." We promised her that she would get her picture made with them as soon as she was physically able to do so!
She is a VERY independent woman, so recovery is going to be a challenge for her. So please, keep her in your prayers.

Move over Maegan and Ashley Bailey (The Bama Twins) the NEW generation has arrived!
