Go West Young Man, (or at least Ike)

9:00 a.m. Tuesday Update:

Per the Weather Channel: Ike is expected to enter the gulf and re-strengthen. Its course and amount of restrengthening after that point remains uncertain, but residents, especially all along the Texas, western Louisiana, and northern Mexico Gulf Coasts, should stay apprised of this dangerous storm.

If Ike stays on the projected path they now have him on, but moves West only a little bit, we will no longer be in the cone area! So please continue to pray that he keeps moving West. I don't want him to destroy people's lives and property anywhere, but I don't want him here.

There are still people recovering in this area from when Rita hit in 2005. Houses with the blue tarps covering the roofs, abandoned damaged homes, etc. It is a long recovery process that some people never get over.
Let's pray for all the victims Hurricane Ike has already caused damage to, and pray for all of those still in his path.
