I love you so very much
I don't even mind that life
made me wait so long to find you.
The waiting only made the finding sweeter."
(Written by Ronald Reagan
in a love letter to
Nancy on March 20, 1955)
I love the pictures of the girls. I can't wait to meet ya'll at the Fair, we'll try to get over to your cabin one day. We're at Cabin #2 on the Square.
Our Story told by Eli......
My name is "Eli" Bama Perkins Dance. I was born on June 15, 2003 in the great state of Alabama. Jim Dance and Darlene Perkins officially became my parents on August 09, 2003, when they took over my guardianship from Mallard Point Bulldogges.
My parents named me after two great people, Eli Gold, the Alabama Crimson Tide football announcer and James "Bama" Johnson, a very special friend of theirs.
My parents were married on March 04,2005 in Oklahoma. This date was chosen because it is also the wedding anniversary of Ronald and Nancy Reagan. My mommy cherishes the book written by Ronald Reagan, "I love you, Ronnie...The letters of Ronald Reagan to Nancy Reagan." Although I didn't get to attend the wedding, Daddy carried my first "baby" collar in his pocket as his good luck charm!
Our lives have been full of excitement and new adventures. We hope to use this blog to keep everyone updated on what we are doing and where we are!
